Giti Tire Awards Dealers Red Envelopes to Celebrate Chinese New Year

To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year and in appreciation of dealer support, Giti Tire gave out 13 ‘Ang Pao’ red envelopes to randomly selected Malaysia truck & bus customers who purchased 28 or more tires during January. As part of the promotion, entrants were invited to a prize ceremony lunch on Feb 3rd, where the winners were selected and announced. One grand prize winner received RM8,888, while other entrants were awarded ‘Ang Pao’ red envelopes worth RM3,888, RM1,888, or RM888.

This campaign celebrated the 2016 Chinese New Year with Ang Pao, and rides continued brand excitement after Giti won the recent Sepang 12 Hours Race in Malaysia. It also educated truck & bus drivers on the importance of regular tire changes and maintenance, in a fun and relatable way. As this festival in Malaysia brings about significant movement of people and goods in the country, the campaign encourages truckers to check and change their tires before they go on their travels. After tires are replaced, drivers will experience a better driving experience, with less stress, and the ability to focus on other areas of their lives. By emphasizing the technology of Giti tires, such as fuel savings, improved safety, better performance, and stronger traction, drivers are encouraged to realize the need of a high-quality tire replacement.

Throughout this campaign, Giti provided emphasis on the strengths of its tires in particular, allowing for better awareness and positive brand association. Other new global and local advertising, sponsorships, and promotion activities throughout 2016 will continue to build upon of the growth of the Giti brand, to create value both for retailers and consumers.
